The Cadastral Development Office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism promotes cadastral surveys to clarify land boundaries and areas, and is responsible for preparing basic information that is essential for disaster recovery, facilitating land transactions, and infrastructure development. At this booth, we will introduce the efforts of organizations that have received the Michiseki Award 2025 - Regional Future Begins with Cadastral Surveys (Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Award), a new award system for local governments and businesses that are working efficiently and effectively on cadastral surveys, as well as an overview of cadastral survey projects.
